Overall the pattern is great! However I think there are lots of tips that should be included in order for it to turn out correctly. Watching the videos is a MUST or else you will be very confused on his row counting and then it does take some time to get used to counting rows this way. Tension also needs to be very very tight in order for the dimensions to turn out correctly, overall it's a great pattern but could be frustrating at first to get all dimensions right
I haven't started yet. But the pattern is very easy to read. This is gonna be my next project.
I haven't finished yet. I just got the first part done but since asked to leave a review I'll take this opportunity to speak to the person who made this pattern. I know this is going to be great HOWEVER the way the pattern is written is difficult to understand without checking for videos from other people to help explain. The 2sc inc. That's just typically called an sc Inc. Never saying ch1 at the end of the row before you turn to do the next row, left me wondering if I was going it right( the way you needed it to be done) or if I would be working and have to take it apart bc the measurements didn't work in the end. Again had to watch someone else's video to figure out. It is chain 1 then turn. Ok the flaps, when you go from 5.5-7 and then you just let the yarn hang so you can do the other side 5.5-7 rows, that's now explained either. After I got frustrated bc I didn't know what you expected us to do in that case and I left the yarn hanging, it does feel like a duh moment bc you have to come back and finish connecting them however it's not explained. TBH there are several comments and videos going around trying to help each other break down your way of writing of a pattern which many of us are not use to. I do hope in the future to get another pattern but probably won't until I know the way you write them has cleared up. To hate at! Just hoping if you know that people are having issues with your pattern, and since you want to sell them, maybe offer them in the form that majority of people can read them.
I am really enjoying making this bag. I think that the pattern is hard to understand particularly the way the rows are counted, but once you get your head around that part (the video helps heaps) it comes together really nicely.
The pattern seems easy enough.
